Cap Gris-Nez - at the beach, Point de la Courte Dune.
AOK 15, KVA C, KV.Gr. Gris Nez, Wn. 154 Fuchsbau.
Over the beach from Stp.159a its 10 min walk to the north. Or you walk from the beach entrance over the hill to this point and walk back over the beach.
At the south side of this point you see a Schnabelstand and a Michelmannstand from the beach. Around the corner at the north side, you find the remains of a Vf2a and a Pak 4,7 cm Vf bunker. The steel parts on which the gun was mounted are still visible and when you go into the remains and look underneath, you see the pivot of the gun. From here go up the dunes by a staircase and on the top you find a 612 bunker for a field gun and some other small objects.
On top of the hill between the beach-entrance at Gris-Nez and Point de la Courte Dune lies a nice Schnabelstand. When you look from a distance to this bunker, it gives you the impression that is really a "big St. Leitstand". But when you go inside is seems to be a Wellblech bunker with a big concrete nose which served as observation point.
